Application installed on user’s computer, and used to backup user’s data. Files are sent then to backup server where they are stored in a secured manner. Application can be installed on a workstation, file server, mail server or a database server. File Cloud Backup Clients can establish a connection with File Cloud Backup Server through the Internet (over TCP/IP) or LAN.


Network drives backup

Users can backup files stored on network drives. This feature allows to input authorization data needed to access network path.



It is a space where user files are kept. Depending on the user’s choice data can be encrypted by using default key or non-encrypted at all. Briefcase folder content is synchronized automatically on each computer with File Cloud application covered by one license. File overview is available directly in briefcase folder on local computer, via web panel or in mobile application


Data synchronization

Data is synchronized automatically between users’s computers, web panel and mobile application. Each modification in briefcase is propagated to other end points of synchronization mechanism mentioned above.


User can create his own backup projects, define the type of backed up files, select target data and set the scheduler. You can easily define via wizard following options:

  • Data to be backed up
  • File types to be used
  • Scheduler

File versions

Version control allows user to restore data from certain date and time. It can store up to 30 versions of a single file. This helps in tracing changes and work progress.


Differential backup

at each backup (except for the first one) application is sending only changes in files. This mechanism is strictly connected with version control mechanism.
